Precision Fitness offers individualized workout programs using free weights, TRX, Kettlebells, stability balls, and more, to help you achieve optimal goals in minimal time. David has nutrition programs to get you to those desired objectives, because optimal workouts require proper nutrition.

5 Components of Fitness:

  1. Nutrition: Sufficient Nutrition is absolutely necessary to get the most out of your workouts. The rate of metabolism increases when you exercise.

    This increase causes a depletion in your body’s energy level and it must be replaced by proper nutrition. The fact is that when you work out, you in face stress and tear muscle fibers and connective tissue in your body and that is what signals your body to rebuild them stronger. If you don’t have adequate nutrients for your body to rebuild with then it will have trouble rebuilding what you have broken down during your workout.

  2. Cardiovascular Exercise: Cardiovascular fitness refers to the ability of your heart, lungs, and organs to consume, transport and utilize oxygen. The maximum volume of oxygen your body can consume and use is your VO2 Max. When you exercise regularly, you can increase your cardiovascular fitness as your heart becomes more efficient at pumping blood and oxygen to the body, and the body becomes more efficient at using that oxygen.
  3. Resistance Training: Resistance training, muscle strengthening, or strength training are all common terms used to describe types of exercise that help build lean body mass. These types of activities provide additional benefits not found with aerobic activity. It helps you raise your metabolism. Muscle burns more calories than fat, so the more muscle you have, the more calories you’ll burn all day long.

  4. Core Strength and Flexibility: Your core works as a support for your body, much like the foundation of a skyscraper. It involves all muscles and tissues below your chest and down to your upper thighs. Your core includes your buttocks, pelvic floor, back, and all of the deep, small muscles that support your spine. When you move your body, your core stabilizes its position to prevent misalignment or overstretching. It also transfers force from your lower body to your upper body to produce strength, especially in weight training. A stable core prevents injuries to your back, hips and shoulders. It also prevents joint and muscle diseases and ailments, such as arthritis, bursitis, spondylosis, and joint strains and sprains. Flexibility increases blood supply and nutrients to joint structures, which in turn increases circulation, leading to greater elasticity of surrounding tissues.
  5. Program Design: Whatever your fitness goals are, it is essential to have the right program. Without the right program you are setting yourself for failure and frustration. This is where Precision Fitness comes in. We can design programs for most fitness goals, so you will have structure, guidelines, and a time frame for achieving your goals in a safe and effective manner. All Sessions are to be paid in full prior to beginning training. Please note that all sessions are subject to our 24 Hour Cancellation Policy. If you wish to change or reschedule your appointment you must do so 24 hours prior to your appointment or that session will be charged.
